Late post today so let's get to the nails!
Today's theme was another tough one for me but I like what I ended up doing!
Here's what I used:
I had no idea what to do for this design until I came across this photo of a Zen Garden by Dirk Ercken which I used as my inspiration.
These nails started with three coats of Sand Castles. I then used my striping brush and acrylic paint to add on the wavy lines. After, I used a dotting tool (not pictured) and Genevieve to add some dots for the stones. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
Painting wavy lines is so hard! These lines didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but they looked alright from a distance. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my right hand...those were a disaster haha....I don't know how tranquil these actually turned out to be but the design is kind of funky!
